Sunday
Morning Worship 9:30 a.m.
Evening Worship 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of these services is to focus on the worship of God and the preaching of His Word. The Lord's Supper is observed on a monthly basis.
Sunday School
10:50 a.m.
Several adult Sunday School classes are offered for various ages and with a variety formats for the members of our congregation. A class designed especially for our visitors is taught by the pastor in the Living Room. For more information about our Sunday School program, contact Mark Wilson, director of Christian education.
Youth & Family Ministry
In an effort to integrate all ages within the life of our church, the youth ministry of CPC is an integral part of our ministry to whole families and singles. Many youth activities and retreats, involving students in 6th through 12th grade, are led by the students themselves or their families.
Sunday School classes provide a time for the junior and senior high youth to study and worship. Small groups meet on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year for the purpose of discipleship. Special retreats, mission trips and other outing are held during the year for both the junior and senior high families.
For more information, contact Pastor Eric Mullinax.
Children's Ministry
CPC offers a comprehensive ministry to our young children and their families. Nurseries are provided for the infants and toddlers up to three years of age during each worship service. Sunday School classes for children, preschool through fifth grade, provide training in the truths of God's Word.
During the school year, a program for children who are in five-year-old kindergarten through fifth grade meets on Wednesday evenings. The program focuses on a Bible story with an emphasis on scripture memorization and catechism work.
Pastor Eric Mullinax coordinates a communicants class for children usually ten years old and above on a regular basis.
Shepherding Groups
Each member of Covenant Presbyterian Church is part of a small group which is overseen by an elder. It is each elder's privilege to minister to and pray for the members of his group.
The first Sunday evening of the month is the designated time for the groups to meet with their elder. Contact the church office if you need to be assigned to a shepherding group.
Missions
We support a number of foreign, local and national missionaries and agencies. We also support and encourage members of our congregation to be involved in short-term mission work. Each November our Missions Conference gives the congregation the opportunity to meet and know the missionaries and their work first hand.
Mercy Ministry
This ministry provides for those in the church and community with physical and spiritual needs. By caring for those who have true physical needs, we can show the love of Christ. Deacon Dan Struthers heads up this ministry.
Health Ministries
Health ministry is a way of assisting us to see the church as a place of health and healing. In this context, health is viewed not as the absence of disease but as a sense of physical, social, psychological and spiritual well-being. Healing is the process of integrating the body, mind and spirit to create this sense of well-being even when curing may not occur. Parish nursing is one aspect of health ministry here at CPC. The parish nurse calls upon our Christian values and beliefs to promote health and healing among the people of CPC and the greater East Brainerd area. Contact Polly Henry for more information.

Women's Ministry
The women's ministry welcomes women of all ages and all walks of life. Two retreats are held for the ladies each year in the spring and fall.
A ladies Bible study meets at the church on Thursday mornings. Daytime and evening circles meet in homes. Monthly prayer breakfasts are scheduled for Saturday mornings. Dinners are held throughout the year, the Annual Christmas Dinner being the highlight of all of them. See our women's mininstry section for more information.

The men of the church meet on a monthly basis for breakfast and a time of prayer, often the second Saturday of the month. Small groups meet at various times and locations. Learn about these groups at the Wednesday evening meeting or Saturday morning breakfast.
Throughout the year, the diaconate coordinates a variety of mercy ministry efforts involving men of all ages including: Habitat for Humanity, home repair for widows and others in need, and church facility repair.
