Women's Ministry
Welcome to the Women's Ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church (CPC). We believe God creates and equips us as helpers – protecting, supporting, shielding, sustaining, delivering, comforting, encouraging and blessing the Body of Christ at CPC. It is our privilege and responsibility to demonstrate our obedience to the Giver of our gifts by discovering and developing them for the common good of the Body of Christ.
Purpose
The purpose of the Women's Ministry is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community and throughout the world. The Women's Ministry should be concerned with the following:
- Growing in the knowledge of the Word.
- Ministering to the sick and bereaved.
- Taking part in mission work at home and abroad.
- Enjoying Christian fellowship with one another.
- Showing love and concern to all ladies in our church.
- Being used as an outreach in prayer.
- Helping further hospitality functions of the church.
- Addressing concerns identified by the Women's Ministry Council and/or the Session.
