From
 the Assistant Pastor . . .

Dear CPC Family,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the love and care you showed to us on Sunday evening. We deeply appreciate how all of you have ministered to us while we served at Covenant. You are our family in the truest sense. Thank you for your cards and letters. Thank you for your kind words and sincere hearts. For everyone who had a part in the planning, clean-up, etc, thank you especially.
I also would like to, once again, thank the Session for its donation toward the ministry at this young and growing sister PCA congregation as well as the donations that many others of you have pledged. I had a couple of questions from people regarding donations. Some of you would like to give a donation directly to us. Yet for tax purposes, we need the money to go through the church down there. Some of you said that you’d feel more comfortable making the check out to Christ Community but handing it to us to mail. That is fine as well.

As I said to some of you who came through the line, what we need most is prayer. If you received a letter from us in
the mail and can’t participate financially, just let us know you are praying for us by sending in the blue card just stating that you will partner with us by prayer. George Mueller relied upon prayer for his needs, and we rely upon your prayers as well. We know that you are already praying for us. Thank you.

Some of you have also told me that you have logged on to our blog. I have written a few articles there and will be keeping it up to date. If you would like to receive email notifications of when it is updated, then go to the “subscribe” box at the top of the blog and enter your e-mail address. You will then be prompted to go to your inbox and verify your e-mail address, then you are done! As soon as I make a new blog post, you will be notified by email. You can go to the blog by typing in this link http://thecardens.blogspot. com.

You have made the last almost five years a joy for us. Thank you for your love and support of us and your support for the kingdom of God. We love you all.
In Christ,
Pastor Zack Carden
